Awareness-Based Emotional Healing and Past Trauma Release with Atousa Raissyan
Life is always supporting us in the best way possible, which may not always be the way we want things to be. Life invites us to slow down and go inside. It’s not about fixing, preventing, or doing, but to recognize the Self. And as you get to recognize the Self more, you also begin to release the thoughts and judgment of emotions. If we remove the thoughts and judgments around emotions then emotions are just emotions; sadness is just sadness, crying is just tears and release, and there is no difference between sadness and happiness, tears and laughter. Emotional well-being begins when we meet ourselves with compassion and presence. Beneath every story and reaction lies a natural state of peace, always present to be recognized.
These are the foundations of emotional health practices that support lasting balance and awareness.
Part of allowing life to flow with ease is allowing feelings to be, without suppressing or fixing them. We begin to heal when we recognize the stories and storytellers, the protective layers and programming, and the mind that has been so used to doing, fixing, and being something or someone. That recognition is the beginning of healing, which is the awareness that is our anchor for natural rhythm, peace, and joy.
Listening Within
How often do you pause in presence and simply be? Allowing all the sensations and emotions to flow without thought, judgment, or fixing? Allowing thoughts to flow without getting into the story? The truth is always whispering to you and inviting you to recognize the Self.
This awareness is the foundation of emotional healing. It’s where you begin to see emotions not as burdens or alarms, but as energy of stories of separation that have been held for so long. This is where you start to reconnect with your authentic self.
Everyday Emotional Health Practices for Balance and Awareness
Emotional balance doesn’t come from doing more, it comes from slowing down. Simple, consistent practices help you ground, release, and return to peace.
Mindful breathing: Not telling the body how to breathe, but connecting with the natural breath at the moment, reminding that the body is intelligent and knows best. Recognize the breath happens naturally by itself and there is “no one” breathing, only the body naturally breathing. Remind the program, “I am safe. All is well.”
Simplify the story: All those journals you wrote carry energy and charge; release them. Take a piece of paper, allow the story to come out on one page, and be the ghost writer, the witness. As you write, recognize the emotions, the storyteller, and why the story is being told. Once all is out on the paper, release it.
Nature connection: Nature is the best way to recognize the Self. Walking and being outdoors allows you to connect with the natural rhythm of life, which is your rhythm as well. You begin to see everything as one.
Healing the storyteller: When a story carries deep emotional charge, past trauma healing helps release the energy so you can gain clarity and let the story go. Learn more about Past Trauma Healing sessions.
Spiritual mentorship: A safe, co-creative space to recognize patterns, deepen awareness, and remember your true nature. Learn more about Spiritual Mentorship.
These emotional health practices remind you that emotional wellness is nothing more than allowing, flowing, and being, not something you have to earn or achieve.
Healing the Roots of Imbalance
Past trauma often shapes how we experience life, influencing our emotions, relationships, and sense of safety. Healing those roots allows freedom to return.
Through past trauma healing, you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have carried emotion and pain through the years. Rather than recalling memories, you listen and feel through awareness, allowing those younger parts to be seen, understood, and gently released. As each one finds safety, the emotional weight softens, and your body and heart begin to return to their natural harmony. The process is not about changing who you are, but releasing the stories and the roles and identities that control life rather than allow it to flow.
Spiritual Mentorship: Walking the Path Together
Spiritual mentorship is not about following a method or teacher. It’s about walking side by side in awareness. It’s a sacred space where presence meets presence, where you remember that everything you seek is already within you.
In our sessions, I guide you to recognize identities and patterns so that you can come out of the roles and change the pattern. It’s about seeing the parts that you are unwilling or not able to see. Once aware, you can shift the pattern. This is not self-improvement; it’s self-remembrance.
Creating a Life in Harmony
Self-recognition is not a destination, it’s the way you live life in the present moment, in the now. Some days are still, others are stormy, and you recognize the still and the turbulent, the stormy and the sunny, are no different. They are all gifts, they are all perfect, and they all serve a purpose. There is nothing to fix, since in stillness or turbulence, storm or sun, the Self is not changing; it is peace, joy, and presence.
Closing Reflection
Emotional well-being is not a destination. It’s a daily flow, the essence behind all emotional health practices, allowing emotions to be without judgment or labels, free from stories, and grounded in recognition of the Self always present.
Today, simply be reminded that you are safe, all is well, and that everything in life, just like your breath and heartbeat, happens naturally without any doing. You are the Being that allows it all to take shape.
